In terms of good Accords, pretty much every generation is a good one. I do own a 4th gen. Accord and I love my car. It has over 207k miles on it and still runs strong and with the upgrades that I slowly make to it, it keeps getting better.

In terms of finding a good Accord at a good price I suggest you start off by finding out the values of generation Accords you are interested in. http://www.KelleyBlueBook.com tells you the blue book values of all Makes and Models for private sales and dealerships. Of course if the price of the car being offered is much lower than the blue book value then be careful when checking over the car, and if possible get a mechanic (preferably that you already know) to look the car over before buying it.
