sylvania makes dot and sae approved oem style hID replacement housings for some cars, just a few tho
they also make dot and sae approved hid aux lights that you can use with your low beams. i was thinking bout getting a set of those so that i could see better while carving those canyon roads at nite, but they still run about $400
