Okay, I have a GS-R but i ran across the forums on Superhonda.com and this is what one of the members said


"There was a dyno about an ITR and various intake systems. It was stock vs. aem cai vs. icebox vs. j'racing. The AEM actually lost power compared to the stock system. The reason why it seems to be faster on the butt dyno is because it loses quite a bit of mid-range and it peaks out in vtec but the peak horsepower was a tad bit below that of the stock ITR. The J's racing gained around 3whp and the comptech icebox gained 4-5whp at peak but the mid-range was much improved."

I'm really in a dilema.. thas prolly why Japanese dont use/like CAI/Shortram intake systems.

Also, who makes aftermarket filters that are acessable to people like me? Thanks
