Hey,

Look at your fuse panel. There are five extra power lugs. One of them is on only when the key is turned to the on position (I think it is the fifth one). Use that for power. Use the Headlight switch lead, (you can find this on the dimmer, it is either black with red, or red with black, I can't remember) to be 12 volts positive to a standard 12 volt automotive relay. This relay should click, when you turn on your headlights. Now, hook the power from the fuse panel up to the normally open connection of the relay, and the power connection of the power inverter (supply, normally red, but 12 +) to the common connection of the relay. What will happen is every time you turn on your parking/head lights the relay will close connecting the 12 from your fuse panel to the power inverter. This has a couple good effects. Your indiglos will not flash when you chirp your alarm (because power only works if the key is on) so it will not burn out your power inverter. Also some people will use the power from the dimmer to power the inverter, but this will burn it out after a couple of months.
