You're better off putting in a D16A1 (86-89 integra) engine in it. That's basically a ZC, and it drops right in. Please correct me if I'm wrong, by the way.
yes it is lots of work, I have the D15 crx upper cam mount on the D16 and that will line up fine into the car, i have one problem the D15 tranny doesnt bolt upto the D16z6 motor, i got 2 bolts into the tranny and the block but i am affraid of the thing flying apart during driving, There is some aluminum where i could possibly drill and tap into the block without hitting the water jacket, and get two bolts into the transmissions top bolt holes, the clutch and flywheel fits and lines up onto the tranny and the tranny shaft lines up with the clutch fine, but the D15 transmission housing is smaller then the EX D16z6 tranny housing. I thought all D series transmissions and D series blocks all were interchangeable, is there an adapter plate for this conversion? I will probably have to custom fabricate my Hydrolic master cylinder and lines onto the CRX, Will this be possible to drill the firewall out and mount a hydrolic clutch pedal and master cylinder? replys will be greatly apprectated.
