If you autocross or plan to, a supercharger is a better choice (IMHO.) A turbo will create more peak power but a s/c will keep the linear power delivery and a flatter torque curve, which adds up to more predictability and torque down low where its sometimes needed to pull you out of a tight corner.

Turbos can be hard to keep at the limit since the same amount of pedal pressure will create varied results as the turbo spools up. The torque boost of the turbo as it kicks in feels great in a straight line but not when it takes u off course in the autox.
