Turbo is better for a daily driver because of the lag; you don’t want to be boosting 100% of the time. You’ll get better gas mileage and it will be more drivable in stop-and-go traffic. If you’re cruising around town reving to about 3500 you’ll have your stock drivability and when you want to go fast you just keep the RPMs higher, that’s what you’re going to do when you race anyway, no one races at 3500RPM… I don’t have any FI but if I did do anything it would be turbo, the lag is good. Also if you have a super you’ll be boosting right from the start, that can’t be good for the tires if they’re always chirping or spinning (depending on your driving skill).
