There are in fact different grades of tint that are stronger than the small rolls sold in store and are thicker too. But, a good tint place shouldn't have problems with any kind of tint if they do in fact know what they are doing, because the high grade tint can bubble just as easy as the kind that any consumer can buy on their own. Another thing to look out for to make sure these people know what they are doing is to make sure they get the tint completely to the edge of the window and not leave a border. If they tell you that they can't get the tint completely to the edge then they have no clue to what they are doing.

Another thing, I don't know where you all are getting tint work done for over $200, but you are getting ripped off. Places here in Philly only charge no more than $160 for the whole car.
