i use micronized creatine (dymatize brand), on 21-30 day cycles including a loading period. i noticed greater stamina/less fatigue, which helps you get more reps and sets in. it also helps the muscles retain water to appear fuller.

anyway my personal belief with supplements is to start using them after you get a solid routine down. let your body get used to regular weight training, then add in supplements later.

it seems like everyone here is gungho about supplements, without really weight training first?

after reading what rich said i agree with him

What happens is you reach a plateau and you find it difficult to improve, creatine gives you that extra energy to get that last rep in, it's definitly not a mass builder, that mass you see is water retention that you body utilizes to process creatine, once you're off creatine ya you loose that mass, but its simply water weight, you don't loose your strength, supposedly and that's what I have found. I am in a cutting phase right now in my work out, so no building, diet and major cardio are my goals now.

Looks like Baget beat me to it
my work at ups is a pretty good upper body workout. i use my biceps, triceps, delts, pecs, and lattismus rigorously. i used to get sore my first two weeks, and i felt that "burn" for a few weeks after that, but i dont really feel it anymore. but i guess i should go on a strict weight training regiment for at least a few weeks before i get on that creatine. and when i do, i'll prolly do cell-tech again, but i'll do half the dosage, because they reccomend servings about twice as big as everybody else :ugh:

i suppose i'll start using whey protein supplements right away when i start weightlifting tho. does that sound feasible??
