me and my friend are working on 87 crx. We had to replace the head gasket. We started this about a year ago. We could not get the head off. So when we tried again it came off. Now everything is back together. When the head was off the fourth cylinder had carbon in it and it looked like it was attached to the sidewall. We ignored this and said the it might start. Now when we try and start it, the engine does not crank over or anything. All you hear is the starter trying to turn the engine over? Any ideas on how to get the car to start?
