My tunner only uses AEM and is very good with it. I was just wondering if anyone on here has an AEM EMS with a turbo. I wanted to know if its possible to make it ride like a factory turbo car. Also, what do you guys know about the AEM system? (OTHER than its cost) Thanks.
No fuel management system alone is really going to make the car act like a factory turbo. That being said, the AEM system performs the fuel system stuff really well, when it's properly setup. It's one of the more flexible systems out there, and in the hands of someone who uses it often, is much faster to tweak than a system like Hondata or the Apex'i PowerFC. That doesn't always save you labor costs, but sometimes.
You should also figure on getting the GM or Bosch MAP sensor. I ran mine with the checkvalve octopus, the missing link, and the GM sensor all under the AEM PEMS, and maps using the GM sensor worked the best by far.
