if a fairly easy process... just very time consuming. To sum it up, the metal hog rings hold the leather in the "creases" in the seats... to give it a fit look.

You can always look for an upholstery shop in your area, and have them install the kit. It shouldnt be too expensive, and it may come out better than if you did it yourself. (Not doubting your skills, just saying)

Another option would be to purchase a whole set of seats and door panels from a wrecked car (or even someone that wants to trade). You might be able to find a complete interior for less than the price of a leather kit and instalation. Then it would just be a bolt-in instalation for the most part.
