Well, I should clarify. Do you have an EX or DX/LX now that you blew the rod in? Are you getting a long block or full changeover. If you get a longblock and use items such as the Z6 IM, etc, there will be some small issues. But why have issues at all when you can have no issues. The deal is that there are thousands of parts for the Z6 block and very little for the D15B (VX) block. It all depends on where you want to go with this engine. But price wise the D15B can be had for a lot cheaper with lower miles but just make sure you get the right d15B because there are 90HP VTEC-E versions of that motor with the same D15B block stamp. There are also variations in valve covers which determine the years, etc. Ideally you want the dual stage 130HP version or the regular VTEC 130HP version. But I think the dual stage VTEC motors are newer. Oh, and despite many rumors there are no MANUAL tranny LSD equipped D series.
