There's too much internal conflict in Africa to pose a serious threat, IMHO. They do not have Islam as an exteme binding force, as it is in the middle east. Just domestic terror and rebellions vs. international terror.

Precisely. Christianity has the Old Testament, which is pretty much fire, brimstone, and Jewish law, and is usually glossed over aside from Genesis, Noah, etc.

IIRC Deuteronomy has some particularly interesting bits of law and punishment. Been a while since I read the Bible in its entirety.


Similarly, the Koran has Islamic law in it, which if taken to extremes can lead to some rather dangerous conclusions. Islamic extremists like to forget that Christians and Jews are "people of the book"
