Default Please take a moment... :UPDATED!:

Good afternoon everyone. I have a friend, James, in the hospital right now from a car accident that happened about a week and a half ago. He is in the ICU and has now developed a blood clot in his brain. The doctors can’t operate due to its location and apparently can’t give him any blood thinner because there is still bruising that could bleed out if that type of medication is administered. The doctors don’t have much of a solution and say that it’s in God’s hands now. That is why I have made this post – your prayers are needed. I’m not interested in what faith or denomination of which religion you are part of, just that you do what you can to lift James up to give him that spiritual support that he needs.

Also, please pass this message on to everyone that you can think of. I’m not one for chain letters or huge email sendings, but I think that this is important enough to merit such a sending.

Thank you all for anything that you can do.

Josh

:::UPDATE - 7 April:::

~ From a coworker of his ~

I am optimistic that I have very good news concerning James. Last report is that the MRI taken showed the clot to have dissolved, except for a small trace. They are doing an angioplasti (sp) as I write this to confirm that is in fact true. I saw him earlier and he looked and felt very good, in fact better than he has since the accident.

I believe your prayers have helped James and he and his family deeply appreciate everything that you are doing.

Thank all of you for your thoughs and prayers! As you can see, the power of prayer is real! :yay:

I'll get back to you guys on the development, but this is great news! :yes:

:::UPDATE - 8 April:::

I haven't heard anything regarding the results of the surgery yet today. If I do, I will post.

Thanks again everyone!

:::UPDATE - 9 April:::

~ PER A COWORKER ~

I just got back from the hospital and they have moved him out of Intensive Care into a private room. As for his medical condition, the angioplasti confirmed that the blood clot(s) had dissolved. He was still having significant pain and they discovered that he has a spastic artery. I am not sure of the treatment other than pain medication until it subsides. He was looking very good and seemed to be feeling much better. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Thanks!

Again, I thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I'll remove the sticky now as it seems he will be making a full recovery and again praise all of you for your great support!

Thanks!
