Did you use
this diagram of the ECU pinouts when you installed it? You'll want to use the one labeled WH-2. As for the wires themselves, there is another diagram in these instructions (on the page marked 11) that explains where each should go. You might want to double check that everything is wired correctly, and reset the unit.
