1. Take the MSF course www.msf-course.com
2. Get your endorsement.
3. Get a decent jacket, gloves, helmet, and boots for riding.
4. Research a bike under 600cc's insurance and how much it'll cost to maintain. Doesn't sound important but really it does once you find out it takes $3k a year to insure a 03-04 R6 lol Good thing I live in a state that doesn't require insurance.
5. Go out and find a bike you can have fun with
