So our streets here are patrolled by CHP. I have never seen a city cop drive around my area. I think thats how it works.
any cop of a state has jurisdiction in that entire state. doesn't matter if they are highway or what. if they are in that state they can pull you over, they just have to make the ticket out to the court that is that area. it pays off to take a law enforcement class in school
