If you want to go fast, I suggest you do what Mexican says, get a JDM engine and a manual tranny (preferably with an LSD), saves you the big bucks of having to upgrade your engine and you'll get "boo-koo" power. You can always keep your stock engine in case you break the JDM engine; that way you will at least have something to move around with.

Anyway, the main stumbling block you have is the tranny, get rid of it and get a manual tranny.
