Well, anyways, just wanted to share my victory on a punk ass CL or TL. It was a hot wenz-day afternoon, traffic is about medium. I was going about 55mph :driving: (speed limit on that street was 45) and this acura is riding me like theres no tomorrow. So i drop it in 3rd and accel to 70. Well, he keeps up, so im like, okay its on! we get to the red light, he pulls up on the right side of me, rev's his shit, and burns his tires (light is still red) and i rev my car (gave him a lil chrp ) . Right when it changes green i launch @ 2.5k rpms and we're off. At first im pulling on him, id say until about redline first (6.2k rpms) and then when i switch gears he starts pulling on me--but no worries, there were cars all around us, so he couldnt smash on an open stretch. So we're both weaving in and out of traffic, and when we got up to 115mph i threw on the hazards and called it off. He was really close tho, but since we were in med. traffic, all i had to do was keep my shit in 3rd most of the time while he was braking, and then accel when i saw open spots. In the end, he was about 1 1/2 cars behind me. :joshers: So a victory for the double hoe 5speed accord!
