I never ask these, but im really curious now.

A friend at work just bought a 91 Laser...16Valve DOHC (non-turbo), 5-speed.
He thinks he will eat my civic up. So i went for a ride with him to go get some mexican food , and it feels ALOT different from my civic, but i couldnt tell if it was faster. You guys think he will take my civic out? He has 153k, i have 109k. He grinded the gears about 4 times while i was riding with him, and he was launching really crappy. I think i can take him, but im not certain.
