OK, here's a neat little tidbit.

The Civic Si (Sport injection) was first introduced as 1986 model hatchback. It had a 12 valve, 1.5l engine of the EW series which evolved into the first "performance" D series engine, the D15A3. The Si replaced the Civic 1500S ("1500cc Sport") as the "sporty" Civic.

That early Si produced a whopping 91 flywheel horsepower, compaired to the 50-70hp the other 1300cc and 1500cc models produced. Pretty peppy car, I loved mine.

Here's another neat bit: the Prelude was never produced with an engine smaller then 1.8l (technically 1751cc.)
