torque and horsepower have nothing to do with each other, torque is not able to be guessed at because some motors actually have more torque then horsepower (american). torque numbers can be changed by tranny, smaller gears yields more torque, wheels also have a bit to do with torque. what it all boils down too is torque is what gets you there, horsepower is what keeps you there.
