Not to mention the tranny is quite a bit larger/weighs more than the D/B series tranny as well. It's just not a great idea to start with and can turn into a big disaster (such as this case) without good engineering and product testing. There are plenty better alternatives to make good power than to try and stuff a H22 into a civic.
