I went to the dealership a could of weeks ago and bought an oil filter. When i got home i compared it to an oil one laying around the garage to find that it was significantly smaller than the ones Acura had been selling me.

Good theory: increase in oil press. = slight increase in power above 6k
Bad theory: Smaller filter = restriction on oiling system

what do you guys think?
