The designers tested and planned out a well built and designed factory intake manifold for the ITR, that'll honestly be hard to beat. This might be a crappy example, but its like wearing your buddies shoes that are the same size you wear... Your shoes are gonna work out better than his cause yours have been formed to fit your personal foot.... am I making any kinda sense?
