this is how you manage to not break axles with slicks:

2. DO NOT side step the clutch at 7 grand!
3. DO NOT use a slick TOO BIG(IE how tall not wide) for your HP
4. launch high in RPM's but slip the clutch tring to keep the RPM's at a constant
good advice... though turning the wheel on burnout I don't think is really THAT big of a deal... next year I'm gonna do a few without turning. The reason I turn the wheel is the get each side of the slick warmed up... Broke one OEM axel this last year and it was on street tires cause I didn't launch hard enough and the tire didn't spin off the line at all... *my bad*
