Honestly and to George's dismay I use GM Synchromech FM in my transmission. I changed about a month ago and it does seem to have helped my 2-3 grind situation. One thing to consider GK is that GM can't make a car or transmission worth a damn so they have to compensate with nice products to counter balance the car itself.

There is a post on Honda-tech that b18c5-eh made about how to do the tranny fluid. You coudl just use a shop manual as well. I did fill through the VSS instead of the fill hole.
