ITR gearboxes are know to be choppy (1st to 2nd) (and especially 2nd to 3rd) so why not use a non-honda product if it will result in smoother transitions? Why not try a different product and figure out for yourself whether or not it's all "hype". I understand it's a good idea to stick w/ the manufacturers suggested product, but in some cases products stamped w/ a Honda emblem are garbage to begin with. Just look at the new oil filters, manufactured by Fram. Way too much of a resemblance to the ones you can find in your every day wal-mart. In reply to your question, no I don't have syncro problems, but my R has been pampered since the day it was bought, only has 12,000 miles on it, and the shifts are definitely choppy. Trying a different product isn't exactly "jumping on the bandwagon", and if it doesn't work out ,you'll be the first to know. :wink:
