Well this is how it works in PA.

You get estimates from a few body shops for the repair. Then you get the insurance check in your name and the body shops name if you have a loan still, then you go to the body shop and have them order the parts you want from where you want, JDM conversion parts are typically not any more expensive than USDM as long as you need everything, like the radiator support, headlights, ETC. You can probably make out with minimal out of pocket. If you hold the title you can get the check made out to you and buy the parts yourself, then go to a shop.

The only thing is finding a good shop that will work with you on it. And I'm in PA so I can't help ya out there, sorry.
