Well here's the update... Brother's car is somewhat getting better but I think 2nd gear in his car is just shot... as for my friend with the H22A Hatch without Reverse, I was literally amazed... he put in the GM fluids and within like 5 minutes reverse started working again and has been like new... His exact comments were "holy shit it worked... damn thing shifts so smooth now, its like it was a brand new tranny, can't beleive it".
