I had a 98 prelude a couple years back, and i bypassed the coolant line to the throttle body and was impressed with the results for being such an easy and FREE mod. basically, it keeps the intake air cooler since the throttle body doesn't get heated up by the coolant. it probably feels like 3-5 hp by my butt-dyno.

you can't do it when it's cool out (72 or so and below) b/c the engine tries to compensate and it just would shake and then go into limp mode with the "check engine" light on. but here in FL, esp now, i figure it would work great....

but is it even possible on the type r?? still getting familiar with her myself.
