well i needed a vin on a car aswell and i got that link from someone and i had never used carfax for anything and i just typed in the vin and it gave me the complete history in detail , but then i went back to check on another car, and it wouldnt give me the same information,
so i guess it was only good for one free carfax, thats why i asked you if you had used your free look up already,,

at least thats how i understand how carfax works???
