Either are very good. Comptech is a little more costly but with the AEM you risk sucking up water...although I have not heard of someone doing so. AEM also has the air bypass valve, but you sacrifice some HP gains when using it...plus I believe it only works when the airfilter is completely submerged in water. When was the last time you drove through a puddle 1-2 feet deep? My vote would be for the Comptech...I would rather spend more money on an intake ensuring my engine will not hydrolock. Comptech's filter is up high which is why it does not suck water into the engine.
