Depends on where your thermocouple is located, mine is about 1.5 inches away from the exhaust port, I'm interested in what the temps are in the combustion chamber, I want to know what extremes I'm subjecting the aluminum to. Some people put their thermocouple after the turbo, this does not accurately reflect the temperatures at the head.
