I would install the egt prior to boost, just so you know what Honda designed it to be.
My egt at idle is 600 to 700, At cruising about 80mph its around 1250, at wot it is under 1500 about 1450 or so. The temps depend on fueling. "Fuel it to cool it". The most important thing is quick response, when you get off the throttle, the temp should drop quickly to idle temps. backpressure will also affect egt, make sure you use mandrel bent 3 inch, from turbine to tip. I have added 440cc injectors so my new temps will be different, I will post when I actually run the car in a couple of months.
