I doubt it , the a/c compressor runs ultra hot to begin with and is designed to withstand heat. But sure, over the long term more heat is definitely not beneficial. The biggest problem I had concerning a/c with the kit, is the turbo sits exactly where the a/c pipe used to be, so I was going to have a custom a/c pipe made, but then other priorities like going fast distracted me, now it's no longer an issue. In Michigan it does get hot in the summer but I'm barbaric like that, It just means I have to drink more beer (one Heineken please.) Not while driving ofcourse.
