hello everyone.

i recently purchased an uber clean 2001 nbp with 13K on the clock. the car has some tasty mods: 5zigen exhaust, dc jdm header, and my favorite addition... the jrsc.

i decided to risk buying a modded car, as the previous owner was a late thirties auto enthusiest with five cars (including an E39 M5). he said it has never been raced or on a track. i believe him, but i'm sure he mashed the pedal every time he drove the car... cause you know... i do.

my question is basically: when i rev hard and shift fast, i get a minor crunch shifting through the first four gears. it's not a nasty grind like a bad synchro. should i just change the tranny fluid and shut up when the crunch goes away?

am i freaking out about nothing?

13K with a burned clutch or dead syncros in 2-4... i doubt it.

help a brother out.
