Well, you're gonna spend right around 700-900 on pistons and rods, I'd go with either eagle, pauter, or crower rods, they are the ones I have had the best sucess with.
For pistons, I'm currently using the Endyn Roller Wave Pistons, which I'm very happy with, otherwise I would suggest JE or Wiseco.
For the top end, I would suggest Ferrea for the valve train components (springs, retainers, and valves) if you can splurge and spend a couple extra bucks, otherwise if you're building on a budget like most of us, go with Skunk2, I think they have the same quality and attention to detail, and for the most part will perform the same, with a slightly less resiliance factor (the "oops" factor).
As far as cams go, I really like the skunk2 cams, I've tried most of the Japanese tuners you hear about day to day, and would honestly rather save the money that they charge because of name sake and scarsity.
You should be looking to spend in the neighborhood of about 2500-2800 in parts to do it right.
If you look at the NA section of the forums, you can look at the setup that I run, which I've been very happy with, and so far as yet to have any problems.
I hope that helped, if not, be a little more specific, and I'll see if I can help any further.
Later!
