I think by "manually" shifting your auto transmission, if done in excess, will significantly reduce the life of your transmission. Automatic transmissions shift automatically for a reason, not because they are the best of both worlds between an auto and a manual.
That'd be Honda's 5 spd "SportShift" eh? ::laugh:: It's pretty decent, had a friend in a base RSX with one, I enjoyed it.
