I had my first race last night and I spanked a LANCER. He had a manual I had an auto so I dropped it into 1st and then would shift up every 5000 rpms which really made me move. I guess my question is how bad is this for my transmission or is it ok as long as I dont redline it and keep shifting up at a acceptable rpm level.
