The DJ made a limited run of the CDs which were distributed for free. He got a cease and desist letter from EMI, the record company that owns the rights to the Beatles songs, after he had already made and gave out the original run of CDs. So he didn't make any more. Roc-a-fella, the label Jay-Z runs, sent no such letter.
