"Blank" rotors can be solid or vented, depending on application. Observe.



The rotor on the left is a vented rotor. It has vents between its two friction surfaces for cooling. The rotor on the right is a solid rotor. It has no vents.

On Integras (and most cars for that matter) the front rotors are vented and the rears are solid.
