on a gsr motor you remove the bracket that is connect to the underneath of the manifold.

after you remove that.
unbolt the t bracket. push it up over the mount a turn it to pop it off.

i did mine in the car with the engine. wasn't bad at all!

i don't think the b16's have a manifold bracket, so you probably won't need to remove anything.

the power steering lines and some pipes were in the way but i moved 'em easily.


what kinda of motor mounts inserts (or mounts) did you get?

Didn't know I helped you out. :chuckles:

It's not a piece of cake or anything, but it is doable. I've done 3 of these without any odd tools, hoists or having to jack up the motor.
