That's exactly what I was thinking. If the rotors were cheap, the first time you heat them up good, they are junk. I did that once with a set of $11 rotors. They lasted about two months before I couldn't take it any more. Also, if the pads are juck, it can happen that fast as well.

Did you clean the rotors properly before you put them on? Most rotors come with a thin layer of oil to protect them during shipping. It must be removed before using them.
