SVT is the Special Vehicles Team for Ford, they come out with Ford's top of the line sports vehicles (Mustang, Lightning, and Focus). Basically the SVT Focus is just a factory modified Focus, kind of like what the Si is to the Civic. The Euro package is just to make it look like the Focus RS, which is the rally version of the Focus only offered in Europe. The same is basically true of the SRT-4, it is a Neon chassis factory modified with the turbocharged engine.

Ford reliability is better than before, probably better than Dodge. A lot of their problems with the Focus have been electrical (the cruise control unit fires come to mind) but the Focus line has been around for a while now so a lot of the bugs have been worked out.
