In the GC it has to be prerendered to a point because it would slow gameplay down way too much to not have it that way.

Everybody talks about prerendering like its a bad thing but have no clue what it even means really. Not prerendering on a console just means they have eliminated the linear feel of a game and allowed more options where you can move and how things are seen...that is not truely a non rendered sequence at all.
