That is not what I'm trying to get at at all. I completely agree with this statement, but I was not referring to complete posts unrelated to cars, filled with BS. I was talking about one or two posts in the middle of a thread that give some sort of comic relief, and do not have any technical value. This is what seems to be frowned upon.


I don't see how you can feel as if there has been no change in the "homely feeling" of this board- I think this post in itself shows a change in this- before these changes, this post would not be what it is now, and there would not be people leaving/threatening to leave. I am just stating this for the time being though. I'm not saying that these changes were not for any good, once everyone starts getting used to them this board may become far better than what it once was.... but for now I think the situation is reversed.
