I did it, if I recall correctly, twice. I'm definitely not the one to rag out my car, and I'm not the one to put my life or someone elses life in danger- this was perfectly safe and if you had been there you would have thought the same thing.




I understand that, I wasn't looking for an explanation as to why that happened- when I did that I realized how little traction I had when it was slightly wet, and how I had basically no modification to my car. Then I thought about how bad it would be like that if the roads were dry and I had a turbo.

I am completely aware that you don't make more hp in early gears. I am just stating what happened when I was doing that, plus it is much easier to loose traction in earlier gears. And that is exactly what I was talking about in the video, and I was just wondering as to how one would stop that.
I didn't say you were a irresponsible driver, just wondering why you would post a thread bout spinning on the street while it was wet outside. Driving fast in the rain/wet can be safe but not usually on the street and not without rain tires/good road conditions (ala a race course)
