First of all.

We are redoing the board for many reasons, none of them are to irritate or lose any members. I would like to see all member stay.
I can't tell you why all the changes are happening, for one I do not know, second, the Administrators will notify you guys of all the big changes in the form of stickies.

What do I THINK is the goal, have HAN become more tech oriented and maintain the "homely" feeling.

Yes, you log on and there are vast changes, and rules are being applied more often, and perhaps hastly. I can understand your anger/concern on the changes. It may seem odd to be irritated by an online car forum but I've been here since 98 or 99, and a lot of changes have urked me as well.

NO. I must say I was hesitant on moving exterior civic pictures to the apperance/cosmetic forum, but seriously, how bad is it? You have to go to another forum to view pictures of cars sepeartely? It's not as if we are removing them, just in a different section. It's a clean divide, wanna look at eye candy, go there, want something more serious and tech related, come in here.

Why are we being hard on the rules?

I'd hate to pick someone out, but he gave the best example within' this thread! The following isn't a post we want in the civic forum, the basement is where you guys are free to make posts like that. We made many requests (this thread for one) on stopping with the posts like the one below. Everyone is "yeah yeah sure sure, i totally agree." Boom scroll down there it is.

The post above may just be me not liking those types of posts at all, but with a post like that would you take this board to be a serious knowledge database? I wouldn't. Perception is everything.

If anyone has concerns on changes made or the direction of the forum, it's best to voice them instead of bottling it up and holding it in, cause every decision we make after that will just add to that anger, so eventually no matter what we do, you'll never be happy with it. I'd rather have you come out and tell me straight up. My PM window is open, and I'd rather get serious e-mails than spam mail on the e-mail I have listed.

I appologzie before hand if I came across rude or belittled anyone. I made a quick reply to address peoples concerns, I may not of used the best choice of words.
